Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Flourish ("we", "us") collects when you use theflourishstore.in, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We follow India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form) when you create an account.
- Social sign-in details — if you sign in with Google, Facebook or X, we receive your name, email address (where the provider shares it) and an account identifier from that provider. We never receive your password for those services.
- Order details — your name, phone number, email, delivery address, the items you order and your order history.
- Payment references — online payments are processed by Razorpay. We store the payment and order reference numbers Razorpay gives us, but we never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank login details.
- Messages — anything you send us through the contact form, product questions or reviews.
- Store credit — your Flourish wallet balance and its transactions, if you use it.
- Usage information — the pages you visit on our site, your IP address and the date and time, which we use to understand how the store is used and to protect it from abuse.
- Cookies — small files that keep you signed in, remember your cart and protect forms from misuse. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including cancellations and refunds.
- To run your account, wallet and wishlist.
- To reply to your messages and questions.
- To send you order updates and, occasionally, news about new products. You can ask us to stop sending these at any time by writing to flourishbusiness2025@gmail.com.
- To keep the store secure and prevent fraud.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as GST and accounting records.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with:
- Razorpay — to process online payments and refunds.
- Courier and delivery partners — your name, phone number and address, to deliver your order.
- Google, Facebook and X — only if you choose to sign in with them.
- Service providers who host our website and send our emails, under obligations to keep the data secure.
- Authorities, when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is active. Order and payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require (generally up to 8 years), even if you delete your account. Usage information is kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you;
- correct or update it;
- delete your account and personal information (see Delete your data);
- stop sending you promotional emails.

Security
Our site uses HTTPS encryption, passwords are stored hashed, and access to customer data is limited to the people who run the store. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our store is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
